Naturopaths are qualified health professionals that view health holistically. Naturopaths always aim to address the root cause of illness in the body. The tools we use to heal include: herbal medicine, dietary changes, food as medicine, specific nutritional therapy & lifestyle advice. Naturopathy aims to educate the person to look after their own health and the health of their family, minimising symptoms of any illness, supporting the body’s capacity to heal, and balancing the body so that illness is less likely to occur in the future.

Online appointments are held via Zoom, a video meeting platform that is secure and easy to use. After booking your appointment you will receive a confirmation email that has instructions on how to meet me online. To prepare for the consultation I recommend downloading the Zoom app onto the device you are planning to use for the appointment.

It depends where you are based. At this current stage, spaces for international consultations are limited due to timezone differences & accessibility to herbs/supplements. If you live internationally and are interested in booking an appointment please send me an email to confirm viability.

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and am a member of the NHAA (#158250).

As of April 2019, health insurers are no longer allowed to offer rebates for naturopathy. I am hoping health fund rebates will be re-instated in the near future.

Payment Terms

CURRENCY & GST

All prices on my website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

All payments made through this website are processed using Stripe. You may choose to pay for your purchases securely using Paypal, Afterpay, or EFT deposit.

SECURITY POLICY

I do not have access to your account details. Any financial information you enter is stored under Stripe’s security policy:

PAYMENT TERMS

Pre-payment is required for services and appointments made through my bookings page. If pre-payment is not made, you will be issued an invoice after the service has taken place for the cost of the consultation and any other services rendered. You will also be invoiced for any prescription products.

Invoices should be paid within 24 hours of receipt. After 7 days you will be sent a reminder email. If payment is not made after 7 days, you will receive a reminder email weekly thereafter and at the 14 day mark you will incur an administration fee of $27.50. For each reminder that is sent (weekly) an additional administration fee of $27.50 will be added to your invoice total.

If you are having difficulty paying the invoice please contact me so that we can resolve the issue and to avoid incurring the administration fee of $27.50.

Please treat your invoice like any other payment and pay promptly for the service you have received.

DEBT COLLECTION

If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, you agree to pay all costs, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor’s costs, that I may incur in taking steps to recover any money that you owe to me, regardless of whether legal proceedings are issued in relation to the debt.

Refund Policy

CHANGE OF MIND

I do not offer a refund if you change your mind, so you are encouraged to consider carefully whether a purchase is right for you before you make your payment.

CANCELLATIONS OF NATUROPATHIC CONSULTATIONS

I require 48 hours notice for any cancellations to avoid the cost of a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of the agreed appointment time will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee. Cancellations within 12 hours will incur 100% of the consultation fee. This is at my discretion - please provide the reason for your cancellation. It is the responsibility of the client to keep appointments and provide notice as early as possible if rescheduling is required.

RESCHEDULING CONSULTATIONS

Please provide 48 hours notice should you need to reschedule an appointment, to avoid the cancellation fees outlined above. I will endeavour to reschedule your appointment to the earliest, mutually convenient time.

IF I CANCEL ON YOU

If for any reason I realise that I cannot make a scheduled consultation, I will provide as much notice as humanly possible and probably apologise a little too much. Obviously in this case you will not be charged a cancellation fee, and we will reschedule to a mutually convenient time. This includes consultations within treatment packages.

REFUNDS FOR CONSULTATIONS, PRESCRIPTION PRODUCTS, TESTING SERVICES AND TREATMENT PACKAGES

I am unable to provide a refund for any testing or services after the time that they have been provided. For example, after a consultation has already been provided and paid for. Refunds are not available on the purchase of Treatment Packages, regardless of whether they are paid for up-front or via a payment plan. Refunds are not available for prescription products. Refunds are not available for herbal tinctures.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, m liability is strictly limited to:

• replacing the goods or providing the services again; or

• if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, refunding the full amount that you have paid to me.

INVITATION TO DISCUSS PROBLEM

If you feel that there is any problem with my services, please let me know within 24 hours. I am keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

I am committed to securely storing and handling your sensitive information.

Your sensitive information is stored on a password protected and secure software. I use G Suite which is a cloud-based platform. This information may include your personal details, health history, consultation notes, test results, prescriptions and treatment plans. SimpleClinic is an Australian owned practice management system for Naturopathic Practitioners and Complementary Health Care Providers. They comply with the Australian Privacy Act and take the protection of your information very seriously. They have a stringent security system, including password protected access to their platform restricted to registered subscribers, AES-246 or 256 bit SSL encryption of all sensitive information, access logging, and firewall and IP traffic monitoring for suspicious or malicious traffic.
